Industrial uses of Zeolite are listed below
Lightweight construction materials: Zeolites prepare lightweight concrete for construction. As a result of their porous structure they are lighter than sand which increases volume per tone but with similar hardness and strength


Gas purification and separation: Zeolites act as molecular sieves; therefore, they are used to purify natural gases through removing impurities such as carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide and water. In addition they are used to separate oxygen and nitrogen in pressure swing adsorption columns


 Fillers: In the manufacture of paper, Zeolites are used as fillers. They are highly utilized in paint and plastic industries


Radioactive waste treatment: Zeolites have high ion exchange capacity and accordingly absorb elements such as caesium 137 and strontium 90 and hold them in their crystal structure


Pollution control: Zeolite reduces odour , ammonia , heavy metal pollution . It also can increase biological activity
